OnePlus confirmed that two new Ace 5 models would be unveiled in its domestic market next week.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition will join the series next week in China. However, the brand still hasn’t shared the exact date of their arrival.
The two models have made headlines in the past few days. According to earlier reports, the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition would be the first to employ the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chip. Aside from the SoC, it could also feature a 6.77″ flat LTPS display, a 16MP selfie camera, a 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup, an optical fingerprint scanner, a 7000mAh battery, 80W charging, a plastic frame, and a decent price.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra is expected to house a Dimensity 9400+ SoC. The chip was confirmed through the phone’s Geekbench listing, where it was tested with 16GB RAM and Android 15, allowing it to secure 2779 and 8660 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Other details it could offer include a 7000mAh battery, 100W charging support, a 6.83″ OLED, a 50MP main camera, and a 16MP selfie camera.
