OnePlus confirms Ace 5 Ultra’s design, May 27 launch

OnePlus announced that the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra would be fully unveiled on May 27.

In line with this, the brand revealed the design of the device, which recently leaked online. According to the image, the Ace 5 Ultra has a flat design with a vertical pill-shaped camera island in the upper left part of the back panel. In addition to the phone’s leaked black colorway, the Ace 5 Ultra will also be available in a silver variant with vertical lines running across its back.

The company also shared that the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra will indeed come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip. It will be joined by the OnePlus G1 chip, which should enhance the gaming experience by providing stable and high-performance network connectivity. Other details the Ultra model could offer include a 7000mAh battery, 100W charging support, a 6.83″ OLED, a 50MP main camera, and a 16MP selfie camera.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra is expected to arrive with the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, which has a similar design but with a smaller camera island. According to earlier reports, the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition would be the first to employ the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chip. Aside from the SoC, it could also feature a 6.77″ flat LTPS display, a 16MP selfie camera, a 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup, an optical fingerprint scanner, a 7000mAh battery, 80W charging, a plastic frame, and a decent price.
