OnePlus is allegedly preparing a new smartphone mode, believed to be the OnePlus Ace 5V.
It is important to note, however, that the official monicker of the phone remains unknown, with other reports speculating that it could also be called Ace 5s. Yet, if we would take the name of its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 3V, into consideration, it could indeed be called the OnePlus Ace 5V.
The phone is expected to fall under the top mid-range segment, challenging the current flagship models in the market. According to a reputable leaker, Digital Chat Station, the phone will employ a simple design, which means we could see a generic OnePlus design for the phone. The model is also expected to feature a customizable button, which the brand will now put on its models instead of the older Alert Slider.
In addition to those things, DCS shared that the OnePlus Ace 5V features a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip, a 6.83″ flat 1.5K+120Hz LTPS display, and a battery with a rating of 7000mAh. According to DCS, the phone’s charging power is still under discussion, but it could either be 80W or 100W. As for its camera, the tipster noted that there wouldn’t be a telephoto unit.
