OnePlus Nord 4 gets Mac connectivity, partial screen recording via new update in India

OnePlus has started rolling out a new update to the OnePlus Nord 4 model in India. The update includes new features, including Mac connectivity, partial screen recording, and more.

The OxygenOS 15.0.0.1001 is currently limited to the Indian market. To recall, the Nord 4 is available in India, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, South Asia, Russia, and Latin America. According to the company, the update is coming in batches.

Aside from the June 2025 Android security patch, it comes with new feature additions, such as the new ability to connect with a Mac, allowing users to view their files on the Apple device and transfer files. Moreover, it also brings partial screen recording, allowing users to select a specific part of the screen to record.

OnePlus also brings the partial screen recording in the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G through the new OxygenOS 15.0.0.1010 update.

  • Adds partial screen recording. You can now select a specific area of the screen to record, instead of capturing the entire screen.

System

  • Adds an option to rename an app group by touching and holding its shortcut on the Home screen.
  • Folders on the Home screen can be resized by dragging to 1×2 or 2×1.
  • The dock can now display five apps even when the Home screen is set to display four apps per row.
  • Enhances gesture recognition for closing floating windows; improves shadow effects around floating windows.
  • Improves the music player controls in Live Alerts for Spotify.
  • Enhances the animation for notifications and Quick Settings for a smoother experience.
  • Integrates the June 2025 Android security patch to enhance system security.
