After earlier rumors, China’s OnePlus president Li Jie confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 5 (OnePlus Ace 3V monicker for the Chinese market) will soon be released by the company.
The existence of the model was revealed after an unnamed smartphone was spotted on the 3C and UFCS certification websites. The unit was given the model number PJF110, which is related to the OnePlus Ace 3 with the PJD110 model number.
According to Jie, OnePlus fans will indeed get the Nord 5 model. No other details of the smartphone were shared by the executive, but earlier reports and leaks claimed that the model will be armed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, dual-cell 2860mAh battery (equates to 5,500mAh battery capacity), and 100W wired fast charging tech.
The details add to the list of earlier reported specs of the device, which include its render showing its rear vertical camera arrangement in an elongated camera island in the upper left section of the unit. After this, a photo of the alleged smartphone surfaced online, showing the actual look of the setup with two cameras and a flash unit.
