OnePlus reveals Nord 5, Nord CE 5 designs, July 8 launch

OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 are launching on July 8. The company also revealed both models’ familiar designs.

The models will debut globally next month, including in the UK, India, and more. On its official website, the company confirmed the plan alongside the design of the two smartphones.

Interestingly, both appear significantly similar to the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, which debuted in China last month. While their looks support speculations that the upcoming OnePlus Nord devices are just rebadged models of the said Ace 5 series models, it seems they will differ in many ways. As indicated on the page, the Nord 5 comes with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, but its Ace counterpart (OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra) has a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC.

The other details of the phones remain unknown. Yet, just like speculated before, they could be based on the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition but come with a few tweaks in various sections. To review, the two Ace 5 series models debuted in China with the following:
