After the long wait, users in the US will now be able to experience Android 14.
OnePlus started offering the OxygenOS 14 (based on Android 14) in January. Sadly, despite announcing the rollout of the update, it did not include US users at that time. Today’s news, nonetheless, reveals that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is now expanding the release of the update to its users in the US.
The 2.54GB update contains the February 2024 security patch alongside a handful of system improvements. Aside from this, users can expect better system performance due to speed improvements in app launching that will be delivered by the update. Needless to say, numerous areas of OxygenOS will be addressed in the update, from security to animations and more. Interestingly, the update also includes some new features, including File Dock, Smart Cutout, carbon tracking, and more.
