Oppo ColorOS Director Chen Xi shared that the team is working on integrating the DeepSeek AI into the brand’s OS.
The arrival of the DeepSeek AI attracted the attention of many Chinese smartphone manufacturers in the industry. In the past weeks, several reports revealed that several brands rolled out and plan to introduce the model to their systems and devices. Now, Oppo is the latest company to make a significant move toward embracing DeepSeek.
According to Chen Xi, the ColorOS will be connected to the DeepSeek by the end of the month. This system-wide integration should allow users to instantly access the AI’s capabilities without additional processes. This includes accessing the AI from the system’s personal voice assistant and search bar.
The post mentioned the Oppo Find N5 foldable, which was earlier confirmed to support the DeepSeek-R1. The list of devices expected to get the DeepSeek integration remains unavailable, but it is expected to cover all models running on the ColorOS.
