Oppo Find N5 to debut in 2 weeks; Exec confirms foldable’s simultaneous global release

According to an Oppo executive, the Oppo Find N5 will debut in two weeks and will be offered globally simultaneously.

The wait for the Oppo Find N5 could soon be over, with Oppo teasing its approaching debut. While the company didn’t share the exact date, it promised to present it to the market in two weeks. Moreover, Oppo Find Series Product Manager Zhou Yibao revealed that the Oppo Find N5 will be offered around the globe simultaneously.

In a recent teaser, Oppo highlighted the ultra-thin form of the Oppo Find N5, allowing users to hide it anywhere despite its huge foldable nature. The clip also confirms the device’s white color option, joining the dark gray variant leaked in earlier reports.

The news follows several teases by Oppo about the phone, sharing that it will offer thin bezels, wireless charging support, thin body, and IPX6/X8/X9 ratings. Its Geekbench listing also shows that it will be powered by a 7-core version of Snapdragon 8 Elite, while tipster Digital Chat Station shared in a recent post on Weibo that the Find N5 also has 50W wireless charging, a 3D-printed titanium alloy hinge, a triple camera with periscope, a side fingerprint, satellite support, and 219g weight.

The phone is now available for pre-orders in China.
