The Oppo Find N5 is finally here, and it houses a handful of interesting details inside its thin body.
The brand unveiled the device in the market today as the slimmest foldable to date. It has snatched the title from the Honor Magic V3 (4.35mm unfolded, 9.3mm folded), thanks to its thinner form. As the company revealed, the Find N5 only measures 8.93mm when unfolded and only 8.93mm thick when folded.
Thankfully, Oppo didn’t only aim to bring us a thinner foldable but also a tougher device. Unlike its predecessor with only an IPX4 rating, the Oppo Find N5 now offers IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings, which is a first for a foldable.
The phone also houses Qualcomm’s latest chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and offers ample 16GB RAM. The battery department also boasts an upgrade, as it now comes with a 5600mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support (vs. 4805mAh battery and 67W charging in Find N3.
The phone’s camera department might be its least impressive part. From the 48MP(main, OIS) + 64MP (telephoto, OIS, 3x zoom) + 48MP (ultrawide) setup in Find N3, the Find N5 offers a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide with AF.
Another highlight of the phone is its productivity features, thanks to its DeepSeek integration and remote desktop feature. As the brand shared earlier, the Find N5 can work as a portable mini-laptop, with the other half of its display functioning as a digital keyboard. As expected, it is also filled with various AI capabilities.
According to Oppo, pre-orders for the Find N5 start this Friday. It is priced at SGD2,499 in Singapore and will be released on February 28. It will be offered in Cosmic Black, Misty White, and Dusk Purple.
