To underscore how impressive Oppo Find N5’s thin form is, a new leak has compared it to its predecessor.
Oppo has confirmed that the Oppo Find N5 will be available in two weeks. The company also shared a new clip highlighting the phone’s thin form, showing how users can easily hide it anywhere despite being a foldable model.
Now, in a new leak, the actual thin body of the Oppo Find N5 has been compared to the outgoing Oppo Find N3.
According to the images, the Oppo Find N5’s thickness was dramatically reduced, making it stand out from its predecessor. The leak also directly mentions the huge difference in the measurements of the two foldables. While the Find N3 measures 5.8mm when unfolded, the Find N5 is reportedly only 4.2 mm thick.
This complements the brand’s earlier teases, noting that the Oppo Find N5 will be the thinnest foldable when it hits the market. This should allow it to beat even the Honor Magic V3, which is 4.35mm thick.
The news follows several teases by Oppo about the phone, sharing that it will offer thin bezels, wireless charging support, a thin body, a white color option, and IPX6/X8/X9 ratings. Its Geekbench listing also shows that it will be powered by a 7-core version of Snapdragon 8 Elite, while tipster Digital Chat Station shared in a recent post on Weibo that the Find N5 also has 50W wireless charging, a 3D-printed titanium alloy hinge, a triple camera with periscope, a side fingerprint, satellite support, and 219g weight.
