Oppo revealed that the Find N5 will measure only 8.93mm in its folded form and weigh only 229g. The company also shared the details of the hinge.
The Oppo Find N5 is coming on February 20, and the brand is back with new revelations about the foldable. According to the Chinese company, the Find N5 will only measure 8.93mm when it is folded. Oppo still hasn’t shared how thin the handheld is when it is unfolded, but rumors say it is only 4.2mm thick.
The company also recently released an unboxing clip of the unit to show how light it is. According to the brand, the foldable weighs only 229 g. This makes it 10g lighter than its predecessor, which weighs 239g (leather variant).
Moreover, Oppo shared details about the Find N5’s hinge, which allows it to be thin while aiding the foldable display’s crease management. According to the company, it is called a “titanium alloy sky hinge” and is “the industry’s first hinge core component to use 3D printed titanium alloy.”
According to Oppo, some segments of the display are folded in a waterdrop form when folded. Yet, as the company shared days ago, the crease management in the Find N5 has been significantly improved, with photos showing that it is now barely noticeable.
The Oppo Find N5 is available in Dusk Purple, Jade White, and Satin Black color variants. Its configurations include 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. According to earlier reports, the handheld also has IPX6/X8/X9 ratings, DeepSeek-R1 integration, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 5700mAh battery, 80W wired charging, a triple camera system with periscope, and more.
