Oppo recently shared the camera sensors of the upcoming Oppo Find X8 Ultra model in a post.
The phone is expected to arrive next month. Ahead of the date, the Chinese brand is gradually revealing the details of the model. Its latest revelations feature the camera lenses of the Ultra phone, giving us a glimpse of its five sensors.
According to the photos, the sensors could be a 50MP Sony IMX906 3x zoom periscope telephoto camera (top), a 50MP Sony LYT-900 1″ main camera (left), a 50MP Sony IMX882 6x zoom periscope telephoto (right), a 50MP Sony IMX882 ultrawide (bottom left), and an additional small Hasselblad multispectral image sensor (bottom right).
Zhou Yibao, Oppo Find series product manager, earlier called the phone a “night god,” suggesting its powerful low-light camera performance. According to the official, nighttime photography has always been an “Everest-level” problem among smartphones. Nonetheless, the manager claims that the Find X8 Ultra can overcome the challenge through a “new lens bringing a huge increase in the amount of light entering.” Without providing some specifics, Zhou Yibao also claimed that the Ultra phone comes with brand-new hardware that can handle color restoration during night shots.
