Oppo Find X8 Ultra debut moved to March, to feature 3-stage button instead of slider

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is reportedly coming in March with a three-stage button instead of a slider.

The Find X8 series will welcome the Oppo Find X8 Ultra soon. Earlier reports said that it would debut after the Chinese New Year, but reliable tipster Digital Chat Station shared that its debut was pushed back to March. Hopefully, this is final, as other leaks say that the Ultra phone will instead launch in the second half of 2025.

Aside from the launch date, DCS revealed that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will not adopt the slider feature its Find X8 and Find X8 Pro siblings have. Instead, the phone is reportedly bearing a new three-stage button, which will allow more customization options. As the tipster noted, it will be like the button in Apple iPhones.

The news follows several leaks about the phone, including its:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip
  • Hasselblad multi-spectral sensor
  • Flat display with LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) technology
  • Telephoto macro camera unit
  • Camera button
  • 6000mAh battery
  • 80W or 90W wired charging support
  • 50W magnetic wireless charging
  • Tiantong satellite communication technology
  • Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor
  • IP68/69 rating
