Oppo Find X8 Ultra reportedly features flat display

A new leak revealed that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra has a flat display instead of the curved screen previously rumored.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is expected this first quarter, and leaks about the phone are consistently coming. The brand itself has also confirmed several details about the model (e.g., telephoto macro and camera button) but remains stingy about its main specifications.

Nonetheless, several leaks have already unveiled some of the most juicy features we are waiting for, including the Oppo Find X8 Ultra’s display. According to a past report, the Find X8 Ultra would have a 6.8″ curved 2K display (to be specific, a 6.82″ BOE X2 micro-curved 2K 120Hz LTPO display) with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. However, a new claim says there is a huge change in the screen.

Reputable leaker Digital Chat Station said that the Find X8 Ultra actually has a flat screen instead of a curved display. The account also shared that Oppo employed the LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) technology to attain thin bezels, which we already saw in the Xiaomi 15 series.

According to earlier reports, the Find X8 Ultra will also have a 50MP Sony LYT-900 main camera with OIS (alongside a 50MP Sony LYT-701 telephoto macro with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope with 6x optical zoom), a battery with a rating of around 6000mAh, 80W or 90W charging support,  and an IP68/69 rating. Earlier reports also revealed that, in addition to those details, the Find X8 Ultra will also offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a Hasselblad multi-spectral sensor, support for Tiantong satellite communication technology, 50W magnetic wireless charging, and a thinner body despite its huge battery.
