Zhou Yibao, the Oppo Find series product manager, shared the first photo sample of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra will debut on April 10 alongside the Find X8S and Find X8S+. Ahead of the date, Zhou Yibao showcased the Ultra phone’s camera performance through its first photo sample, which is undeniably impressive. The photo shows a subject in a tricky setting, which could significantly affect the color accuracy. Yet, the Find X8 Ultra did well in producing accurate skin color and preserving details.
This is the opposite, however, of what happened to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. In addition to failing to produce the natural tone of the subject (the skin turned bluish), it also lost some details during the process. In general, the blue tone consumed the photo sample taken using the Apple smartphone, and the color of the neon sign in the background even changed.
According to the Oppo official, the Find X8 Ultra managed to do this through its lens, which is specifically designed for night photography. The manager also mentioned a so-called “Danxia original color lens,” noting that it “can detect complex light sources in different areas, and the skin color performance is directly preserved.” (machine translation)
