A photo online shows the partial frontal section of the Oppo Find X8S and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

New members of the Oppo Find X8 series are expected next month, including the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Oppo Find X8S+, and Oppo Find X8S. The latter is said to be a flagship compact model with a display of less than 6.3″. Now, in a new photo shared by Oppo, we finally get to see the phone’s display for the first time.

As shared in the past, the Oppo Find X8S features a flat display with extremely thin bezels. The image shows the Oppo compact smartphone beside the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a 6.86″ display. The side-by-side comparison of the phones shows how smaller the Oppo Find X8S is compared to regular-sized models in the market. As per earlier leaks, it would be around 7mm in thickness and 187g light. Oppo’s Zhou Yibao claimed that the black border of the phone is just around 1mm in thickness.

According to reports, the Oppo Find X8s’ battery is more than 5700mAh. To recall, the current Vivo mini phone, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, has a 5700mAh battery.

The phone is also expected to have a waterproof rating, MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, a 6.3″ LTPO display with a 1.5K or 2640x1216px resolution, a triple camera system (a 50MP 1/1.56″ f/1.8 main camera with OIS, a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide, and a 50MP f/2.8 periscope telephoto with 3.5X zoom and 0.6X to 7X focal range), push-type three-stage button, optical fingerprint scanner, and 50W wireless charging.
