Oppo’s mini model is called Find X8s and boasts 6.3″ display, periscope, wireless charging, more

The anticipated compact smartphone model of Oppo is reportedly called the Oppo Find X8s.

The information comes from the reputable leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo. According to earlier reports, the phone could be one of the three mini phones arriving in the first half of the year, with Oppo rumored to be preparing three flagships for a release.

As per DCS, the Oppo Find X8s has a display measuring 6.3 inches with bezels less than 1.38mm thin. The phone is also expected to be thin and light, with the leak speculating it would be around 7mm in thickness and 187g light.

Despite its compact form, DCS claimed that the Oppo Find X8s’ battery is “the largest” and “greater than 5700mAh.” To recall, the current Vivo mini phone, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, has a 5700mAh battery. 

Aside from those details, the tipster revealed that the Find X8s will offer some interesting features inside its small body, including a Hasselblad periscope camera, a waterproof rating, and wireless charging support.

According to earlier reports, the phone could also arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, a 6.3″ LTPO display with a 1.5K or 2640x1216px resolution, a triple camera system (a 50MP 1/1.56″ f/1.8 main camera with OIS, a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide, and a 50MP f/2.8 periscope telephoto with 3.5X zoom and 0.6X to 7X focal range), push-type three-stage button, optical fingerprint scanner, and 50W wireless charging.
