A new leak reveals that the Oppo Find X9 Ultra will still have four camera units on its back.
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Oppo Find X8S, and Oppo Find X8S+ debuted in April in China. Soon, we expect the brand to update the series, which should include the Oppo Find X9 Ultra.
It seems the series is now being prepared, as various leaks involving the models have recently surfaced online. The latest one is centered around the Find X9 Ultra variant, which reportedly still has a quad-camera configuration on its back.
According to reputable tipster Digital Chat Station, the phone will have four camera units, including a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and two periscope telephoto cameras (200MP and 50MP). To compare, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra has a rear camera system comprised of a 50MP Sony LYT900 (1″, 23mm, f/1.8) main camera, a 50MP LYT700 3X (1/1.56″, 70mm, f/2.1) periscope, a 50MP LYT600 6X (1/1.95″, 135mm, f/3.1) periscope, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 (1/2.75″, 15mm, f/2.0) ultrawide.
The news follows a leak about the camera system of the Oppo Find X9 Pro model of the series. Unlike the Oppo Find X8 Pro, the Oppo Find X9 Pro allegedly only comes with three cameras on its back. DCS revealed in the past that instead of two 50MP periscope cameras, the Oppo Find X9 Pro will use a 200MP periscope. To recall, the current Pro model has a 50MP wide with AF and two-axis OIS anti-shake + 50MP ultrawide with AF + 50MP Hasselblad portrait with AF and two-axis OIS anti-shake + 50MP telephoto with AF and two-axis OIS anti-shake (6x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom) setup.
Stay tuned for more updates!
