Oppo official: Find X8 Ultra launch timeline is still in April

Despite claims and rumors, an Oppo official has underscored that the highly-anticipated Oppo Find X8 Ultra’s launch timeline remains set for April.

The news came amid the inconsistent debut timeline details of the phone. According to earlier rumors, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra would arrive in March, while others claimed that the phone’s launch was postponed.

Due to confusion and concerns, Zhou Yibao, Oppo Find series product manager, cleared the air by directly stating in a recent post that the launch timeline of the Find X8 Ultra remains unchanged. Moreover, the manager revealed that the phone will also hit the stores in the same month.

“…We have not postponed the release date and will release it in April as originally planned, and we promise that everyone will be able to buy the product in April,” the official shared.

Earlier, the same official teased the phone’s camera department, noting that it has a “new lens bringing a huge increase in the amount of light entering.” Without providing some specifics, Zhou Yibao also claimed that the Ultra phone comes with brand-new hardware that can handle color restoration during night shots.
