Oppo Reno 12, 12 Pro now official in China

Oppo has finally unveiled the new Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro in its local market.

The two models sport a handful of interesting details that could attract smartphone fans in today’s market. To start, they boast quad-curved display technology, making the 6.7” OLED screen appear almost bezel-less. Inside, they house powerful components, including the 5,000mAh batteries with 80W charging and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. In terms of the processor, the two get different chips, with the base model using the Dimensity 8250 and the Pro model relying on the Dimensity 9200+ chip.

The camera department is also packed with some powerful lenses, with both phones using 50MP selfie units and the Pro model offering a 50MP/50MP/8MP rear camera system arrangement.

Ultimately, with today’s AI trend, various AI capabilities can be expected in the two models. In fact, Oppo is advertising the Oppo Reno 12 lineup as AI devices.

The Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro are available in a variety of colors in China. Fans can get the lowest configuration of the base model for CN¥2,700 and the 16GB/512GB variant of the Pro model for CN¥4,000.
