Tipsyter Digital Chat Station has finally started the first wave of leaks about the upcoming Oppo Reno 14 series.
The Oppo Reno 13 series is now available globally, but a new lineup is expected to replace it this year. Now, DCS shared the first batch of leaks about the Oppo Reno 14 series.
According to the account, Oppo will use flat displays in the series this year, noting that it should help the phones to be thin and light. DCS also suggested that the brand could implement flat displays in many of its upcoming models this year.
DCS also shared that the Oppo Reno 14 series will feature a periscope camera, but we expect it to be offered in the high-end variants of the series. To recall, the current Reno 13 lineup has it in the Reno 13 Pro, which has a rear camera system composed of a 50MP wide (f/1.8, AF, two-axis OIS anti-shake), an 8MP ultrawide (f/2.2, 116° wide viewing angle, AF), and a 50MP telephoto (f/2.8, two-axis OIS anti-shake, AF, 3.5x optical zoom).
Ultimately, the tipster shared that the Oppo Reno 14 series would feature metal frames and full-level waterproof protection. Currently, Oppo offers IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings in its Reno 13 series.
