Poco C40 has been spotted on the websites of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) Thailand and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) India, indicating that the new Poco smartphone will be released soon. The following information was provided by Twitter tipster Mukul Sharma aka Stufflistings. The device is identified by the model numbers 220333QPG and 220333QPI. The letter “G” stands for the Global version, while the letter “I” stands for the Indian version.
The NBTC also mentions the device moniker as POCO C40, confirming that it is the upcoming POCO smartphone. Both certifications do not reveal any information about the device’s specifications, but they do hint at a launch date because the device has already been listed on multiple certifications. The device’s global version was previously listed with the same model number on the FCC and IMEI Database.
The device is expected to be a rebranded version of Redmi 10C, as past leaks do shade light on some of the specifications of the device. It has been said that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, offering a 6.71-inches HD+ IPS LCD waterdrop panel, with a dual rear camera setup, possible 50-megapixels main + 2-megapixels secondary depth sensor.
