POCO F5 series is going to be introduced shortly, as per the announcement made by the POCO Global Twitter account about the unveiling of POCO F5 series. POCO F5 series will include two phones, POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro.
POCO F5 series
POCO F5 is a rebranded version of Redmi Note 12 Turbo, and POCO F5 Pro is a rebranded version of Redmi K60. It would be more accurate to call them as global variants instead of rebrands since Redmi K60 and Note 12 Turbo are China exclusive models. Redmi Note 12 Turbo got attention of many people in China since it is one of the most affordable phone with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
Both phones will come with flagship specifications. POCO F5 will be equipped with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, while POCO F5 Pro will have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Both chipsets are quite powerful. Both phones have 67W fast charging, the POCO F5 has a 5000 mAh battery while POCO F5 Pro will come with a 5160 mAh battery. The Chinese variant of the phone (Redmi K60) has a 5500 mAh battery, while Xiaomi has chosen to use a smaller 5160 mAh battery in the global variant. Both the phones will run MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box. Note that another thing that makes the Pro model better is its display resolution, POCO F5 Pro will come with QHD OLED display compared to FHD on POCO F5.
