Poco Head of Marketing had confirmed last month that the Poco X3 NFC would be receiving the MIUI 12.5 stable update sometime in early August.
The device’s users have been awaiting the update for quite a while now owing to several issues on Android 11-based MIUI 12 including laggy performance, touch unresponsiveness, and proximity sensor problems. Unfortunately, most of these still remain to be addressed to this day. But with the MIUI 12.5 update now rolling out through the Poco Testers program, there is fresh hope.
For the uninitiated, MIUI 12.5 brings along several performance improvements, new animations, a few UI tweaks, and a brand new Notes app. To download the Poco X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 update, simply hit on the download button given in the below Telegram post. You can also analyze its changelog to your heart’s content.
Do note that the Poco X3 NFC MIUI 12.5 update is a Poco Testers (Mi Pilot) release so there’s a chance that it will not be installable for you. However, you probably would not have to wait for much longer if all goes well and the update is deemed stable enough for a wider rollout.
