Realme GT 10000mAh model ‘will be put into mass production,’ but not debuting this year

Realme allegedly plans to produce the Realme GT 10000mAh concept phone. Sadly, it will not launch this year.

The brand recently showed off a concept phone with a familiar rectangular camera island design. The phone is armed with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip and a 6.7″ OLED. The main highlight of the phone, nonetheless, is its 10000mAh battery.

Despite its huge battery, the phone only measures 8.5mm in thickness and weighs 215g. According to Realme, this is possible through the phone’s 887Wh/L energy density and 10% silicon ratio.

The phone is still a concept model, so we don’t expect it to hit stores. Yet, according to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone will actually be put into mass production. This could mean that the phone could soon be available on the market. Yet, DCS revealed that it won’t be coming this year, noting that the highest battery capacity smartphones can reach this year will be limited to 8000mAh. If true, we could hear about the Realme GT 10000mAh next year. We might hear more about the phone during the launch of the upcoming Realme GT 7 series in India.

Stay tuned for updates!
