A new set of details about the Realme GT 7 Pro has surfaced online. According to the leak, the phone will be a powerful one, thanks to the components it will offer, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, 16GB RAM, 1.5K display, and more.
The news follows Chase Xu’s revelation, Realme Vice President and Global Marketing President. According to the executive, the model will be offered in India this year after the brand skipped the country for the release of the GT 5 Pro. This is unsurprising, nonetheless, as Realme officially brought back the GT series in the country in May with the debut of the Realme GT 6T.
Xu refused to give hints about the GT 7 Pro’s details during the announcement, but leaker account Digital Chat Station suggested in a recent post that the handheld would be promising. According to the tipster, the phone will be armed with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, a domestic and customized OLED 8T LTPO screen with a 1.5K resolution, and a 50MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
DCS also said that the Realme GT 7 Pro will have an “ultra-large” battery. No numbers were shared, but based on its predecessor’s battery (5,400mAh) and the current trend among the latest smartphones, it could pack a 6,000mAh power.
The news follows an earlier leak claiming that the GT phone will employ an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The tech should help the device offer better security and accuracy, as it uses ultrasonic sound waves under the display. Additionally, it should work even when fingers are wet or dirty. Because of these advantages and the cost of their production, ultrasonic fingerprint sensors are usually found only in premium models.
