Realme GT 7 Pro to launch ‘this year’ in India

Chase Xu, Realme Vice President and Global Marketing President, revealed that the company will announce the Realme GT 7 Pro before this year ends.

The executive confirmed the plan on X after responding to a fan who was asking why the company didn’t introduce the GT 5 Pro in India. Xu didn’t explain the decision but ensured that Indian fans would not be disappointed with the release of the Realme GT 7 Pro. According to the VP, the model will be launched in India this time. Although Xu didn’t specify the date nor the month of the debut, he promised that the model would arrive “this year” in India.

This, nonetheless, is not entirely surprising, as Realme has already officially made the return of the GT series in India with the debut of the Realme GT 6T. With this, the brand could unveil more GT creations in the future in the said market, which should soon include the Realme GT 7 Pro. According to the executive, the GT 7 Pro will also arrive globally at the end of this year.

Unfortunately, Xu didn’t share other details about the phone, and there are no other details available about the model. Nonetheless, one can assume that Realme will arm the GT 7 Pro with better specs than the GT 5 Pro. Hopefully, this will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which reportedly has a 2+6 core architecture. The first two cores are expected to be high-performance cores clocked at 3.6 GHz to 4.0 GHz, and the six cores are likely to be efficiency cores.
