Realme GT 7 to offer second-gen bypass charging

Realme revealed that the Realme GT 7 supports the second-generation bypass charging capability.

The vanilla Realme GT 7 model is launching on April 23, and the brand is gradually exposing some of its details. The latest announcement focused on the model’s charging department, which is revealed to offer second-generation bypass charging support.

To recall, the bypass charging feature allows the device to draw power directly from the source. This should not only extend the battery life but also reduce the device’s heat, making the feature ideal during extended phone use.

According to Realme, the GT 7 will feature the improved bypass charging feature. Moreover, the company revealed that the handheld also supports a wide variety of fast-charging protocols, such as SVOOC, PPS, UFCS, PD, and more.

The company earlier revealed that the vanilla model has a 7200mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip, and 100W charging support. Earlier leaks also revealed that the Realme GT 7 would offer a flat 144Hz display with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Other details expected from the phone include an IP69 rating, four memory (8GB, 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB) and storage options (128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB), a 50MP main + 8MP ultrawide rear camera setup, and a 16MP selfie camera.
