Realme GT6 is getting AI features, retail box shows

Realme will arm the Realme GT6 with some AI features. That’s according to the details being shown in a leaked retail box of the model, signifying the brand’s ongoing commitment to bringing AI into its creations.

The model is expected to launch soon, with rumors claiming that it could be next month or in July. This is somehow expected, as the company is now preparing the device, which has been making appearances in certification platforms like the FCC.

Now, another proof of its approaching arrival has surfaced online: the model’s retail box. Interestingly, it also reveals some important details about the phone.

The box itself does not have the design of the Realme GT6, but it shows that the model will be marketed as an AI phone by the company. At the back of the box, specific AI features of the phone are indicated: AI Night Vision, AI Smart Removal, AI Smart Loop, and AI Smart Search.

Details of the capabilities are not described, but it can be assumed that most of them are focused on images. It is unknown if the GT6 will also get generative AI, but it should be unsurprising as it was earlier reported that Oppo and OnePlus would soon receive Google’s Gemini Ultra 1.0. With this, it is likely that Realme will also present the LLM soon in its devices, which hopefully includes the GT6.

Aside from the AI features, the Realme GT6 is expected to get the following details:

  • Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
  • 16GB RAM (other options to be announced soon)
  • 5,500mAh battery capacity
  • SuperVOOC charging technology
  • Support for 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and SBAS
  • Realme UI 5.0
