A Realme official named the smartphone models that will soon be supported with a bypass charging feature.
The feature was introduced in the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition, which debuted last month. After this, Realme confirmed that the Realme GT 7 Pro and Realme Neo 7 would also receive it via update. Now, a company official has revealed that other models are also receiving bypass charging support.
In his recent post on Weibo, Realme UI Product Manager Kanda Leo shared the models that will soon be supported by the said capability. According to the official, these devices include the:
- Realme GT 7 Pro
- Realme GT 5 Pro
- Realme Neo 7
- Realme GT 6
- Realme Neo 7 SE
- Realme GT Neo 6
- Realme GT Neo 6 SE
According to the manager, the said models will receive the update in succession. To recall, it was reported that an update for the feature would be rolled out to Realme Neo 7 and Realme GT 7 Pro by the end of March. With this, we assume that the Realme GT 5 Pro would also be covered this month.
The manager explained that the “bypass charging involves separate adaptation, development, and debugging for each model,” explaining why the update needs to come separately for each model.
