Xiaomi has silently launched its Redmi 10 2022 smartphone globally. The company didn’t even host an official event nor any announcement was made. The device has gone official for the global market offering some pretty decent specifications like a 90Hz display, 50MP triple rear camera, MediaTek Helio G88 chipset and much more.
Redmi 10 2022 goes official!
The Redmi 10 2022 flaunts a 6.5-inches IPS LCD display with a centre punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, 90Hz high refresh rate, 405 PPI pixel density, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset paired with up to 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of eMMC based onboard storage. It will boot up on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 skin out of the box.
For the optics, it comes with a quad rear camera setup with a 50MP primary wide sensor coupled with 8MP ultrawide with 120-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro and depth camera at last. The device packs 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling. It gathers power from a 5000mAh battery with is further rechargeable using a 22.5W fast charger provided in-box. It is worth mentioning that the device supports up to 18W charging input only.
It comes with a side-mounted physical fingerprint scanner and faces unlock support for the security and privacy of the device. As for the connectivity, the handset comes with Dual 4G VoLTE support, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS location tracking, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device will be available in Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue colour variants. The pricing details of the smartphone is yet to get revealed.
