Redmi 10 finally launched in India; Specifications and Price

After launching Redmi 10C in Nigeria, Xiaomi has finally launched the smartphone as rebranded Redmi 10 in India. It’s the same smartphone with a different name. It packs some interesting specifications like Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G SoC, the same chipset which also power-ups the Redmi Note 11. It also has a dual rear camera, a newly refreshed design by Redmi and much more.

The Redmi 10 flaunts a 6.71-inch HD+ 60Hz refresh rate screen with a standard waterdrop notch on the front. It’s just an ordinary display, and probably what one should expect in this price range. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G SoC, paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x based RAM and 128GBs of UFS 2.2 based storage. It will be backed by a 6000mAh battery with support of 18W fast wired charging.

As for the optics, it will have a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixels primary wide sensor and a 2-megapixels secondary depth sensor. It has a 5-megapixels front-facing camera housed in a waterdrop notch cutout in the front. The device boot ups on Android 11 based MIUI 13 out of the box. Additional features include a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner and face unlock support, USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, GPS location tracking and much more.

The device will be available in two different storage variants; 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. It is priced at INR 10,999 and INR 12,999 respectively. The Redmi 10 comes in Black, Blue and Green colour variants respectively. It will go up on sale in India starting March 24th, 2022 at 12 noon on Flipkart, Mi.com and offline retail partners of the company.
