Xiaomi celebrates Diwali! In honor of Diwali, Xiaomi launched the #DiwaliWithMi event. Redmi India team teased Redmi 11 Prime 5G on Twitter yesterday. You can follow Redmi India Twitter account from this link. They have teased Redmi 11 Prime on August 29th and now Redmi India team announces the arrival of Redmi 11 Prime 5G.

Redmi releases new entry level smartphone with “Redmi 11 Prime 5G” market name. It will be announced on special #DiwaliWithMi launch event on 6th September, 2022. As it’s obvious with its name, this model supports 5G in both SIM card slots.
Back design of Redmi 11 Prime 5G is very identical to some other Redmi smartphones. Xiaomi usually sells devices with similar specifications under a different branding. Redmi 11 Prime 5G is one of them as well. Basically Redmi 11 Prime 5G is a rebranding of POCO M4 5G, Redmi Note 11E and Redmi 10 5G.
Redmi 11 Prime 5G expected specifications
We expect Redmi 11 Prime 5G to have same specifications as the phones above. Redmi 11 Prime will feature a 90 Hz IPS LCD display(1080 x 2408 resolution). It has 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth camera. It is able to shoot 1080p footage at 30 FPS on both main and front facing cameras. Redmi 11 Prime is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 and it has 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging. Alongside 2 SIM card slot Redmi 11 Prime will feature a dedicated SD card slot as well. The phone will be available with 64GB / 4GB RAM, 128GB / 4GB RAM, 128GB / 6GB RAM storage and RAM options.
