Redmi 13C render images reveal a triple camera setup and USB-C

Render images of the new “Redmi C” series phone, Redmi 13C has surfaced. Redmi 13C is set to follow in the footsteps of the Redmi 12C as its successor. Although a complete specification sheet is currently unavailable, it’s evident from the design that this new phone is targeted at the entry-level device market. One notable upgrade in the Redmi 13C when compared to its predecessor is the triple camera setup, whereas Redmi 12C featured a dual camera setup with a main camera and a depth sensor.

Redmi 13C follows Xiaomi’s well-known design aesthetics but the back of the phone looks a little more glossy than the 12C. At the top of the phone, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, while at the bottom, in addition to the speaker and microphone, there is also a USB Type-C charging port. Finally, Xiaomi has been able to implement a USB-C port in the “Redmi C” series phones, as most of the previous Redmi C series phones had come with microUSB port.

Thanks to the new law brought by the European Union, modern phones are now required to have a USB-C charging port until 2024, with the aim of being able to charge all devices using a single cable. iPhone 15 series has also abandoned Apple’s proprietary port Lightning, in favor of switching to USB-C.
