Redmi A1 will debut on September 6 in India. There are only 4 days till the Redmi A1 goes on sale, and we already have hands on pictures of it! Redmi A1 is the new low end smartphone from Xiaomi.
Xiaomi’s new smartphones are the Redmi A1 and Redmi A1+. The fingerprint sensor is the only difference between them. Redmi A1 won’t feature a fingerprint sensor. Both of the phones will be powered by MediaTek Helio A22 and Redmi A1 has 5000 mAh of battery with 10W charger included in the box. Redmi A1 will have MIUI Lite (or clean Android) preinstalled which is specially designed for the low end devices.
It has a IPS TFT 6.52″ display with HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Redmi A1 features 8 MP + 2 MP rear cameras and 5 MP front camera. We don’t have the price information of both Redmi A1 and Redmi A1+ yet.

We got the hands on the images very close to the introduction event. The Redmi A1 is available in a variety of colors, but we currentlyhave images of the black Redmi A1 only.
