The Redmi K50 series is all set to launch in China on February 16th, 2022. The series will consist of four different smartphones; Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50 Pro+ and Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. Apart from the K50 Gaming Edition, all the three smartphones in the series have been listed on 3C certification, which reveals the charging capabilities of all the smartphones.
Redmi K50 series listed on 3C certification
Three Redmi smartphones having model number 22021211RC, 22041211AC, and 22011211C has been spotted on the 3C certification. They are nothing but the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+ smartphones respectively. Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is unpresent here and so is its charging specifications. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition with model number 21121210C was previously listed on the 3C certification revealing its 120W HyperCharge support.
Now, coming back to the current news, the Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro will have support for 67W fast wired charging and the K50 Pro+ will bring support for 120W HyperCharge. The charging specifications have been confirmed via the 3C listings of the device. The Redmi K50 was previously tipped to offer 66W fast charging but it now turns out to be the 67W, while the K50 Pro and K50 Pro+ were tipped to offer 67W and 120W charging support respectively and it turns out to be true.
Apart from this, the vanilla Redmi K50 might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset. The Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 9000 chipset, while the high-end Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, all the smartphones in the Redmi K50 series will be performance oriented. The Gaming Edition will also offer an improved vapour cooling chamber and the strongest vibration motor present on a smartphone. More details about the Redmi K50 series is yet to get revealed.
