Redmi K60 and K60 Pro, which were released in China, has very similar internal materials! Xiaomi releases many different phone models with different brandings. A disassembly video revealed that K60 and K60 Pro have quite similar materials.
Although Redmi K60 series isn’t very good at the camera system, both phones are powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chips. Redmi K60 is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Redmi K60 Pro uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Both the Redmi K60 and the Redmi K60 Pro have a single layer motherboard. Because they employ different chipsets, it appears they have minor differences on the motherboard. The Pro model has the UFS 4.0 storage unit, while the other model has UFS 3.1.
Here are the cameras of Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro. The difference between Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro on the camera system is only the main camera. While Redmi K60 Pro features a 50 MP 1/1.49″ Sony IMX 800 sensor, Redmi K60 has a 64 MP 1/2″ OV64B40 sensor. The front camera, wide angle camera, and macro camera are exactly the same.
On the small board with the charging port, Redmi K60 Pro has an additional chip for fast charging, while Redmi K60 does not have it. Redmi K60 Pro has 120W fast charging support. The board is exactly the same, except for the chip related to the fast charging.
Speaking of fast charging, let’s take a look at the batteries. The batteries are not the same of course. Redmi K60 Pro offers a 5500 mAh (21.2 Wh typical capacity) battery, while Redmi K60 offers 5000 mAh (19.4 Wh typical capacity).
