The Redmi K70 Ultra is reportedly “focused on performance and quality.” In line with this, the model is believed to be getting a powerful set of features, including the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, 1.5K display resolution, and a 5500mAh battery.
The device will be the successor of last year’s Redmi K60 Ultra model, but it should get improvements in various areas. According to the latest claim of the well-known leaker account Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the company will be serious about enhancing this year’s K-series creation.
The first area to be tapped will be the display, which will be a TCL C8 OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. According to the tipster, it will be complemented by a metal middle frame and a glass back. The account added that there will be an “upgrade” in this department.
Inside, the K70 Ultra should house a 5500mAh battery alongside a Dimensity 9300 Plus SoC. Given that it is one of the anticipated chips to be launched soon, it is expected to bring great improvements in future smartphones, including the rumored Vivo X100s. DCS noted that through this chip, “you can look forward to [the phone’s] gaming experience.”
According to earlier reports, the Redmi K70 Ultra will be a rebranded Xiaomi 14T Pro. If true, the two should share a handful of similarities. As shared before, its Xiaomi counterpart is expected to have 8GB RAM, 120W fast charging, a 6.72-inch AMOLED 120Hz display, and a 200MP/32MP/5MP rear camera setup.
