Redmi official: K90 series camera department ‘greatly upgraded’

Redmi Product Manager Xinxin Mia shared that the Redmi K90 series will have a huge improvement in the camera section.

The official shared several updates on various Xiaomi and Redmi devices. In addition to the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro and Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, the post also teases the Redmi K90 series.

The manager didn’t share the specs of the series but promised that the lineup would feature an enhanced camera system. This supports an earlier leak from Digital Chat Station, who claimed that the Redmi K90 Pro will have an upgraded camera. Instead of a regular telephoto, the K90 Pro allegedly comes with a 50MP periscope unit, offering a large aperture and macro capabilities as well.

To recall, the vanilla K80 model has a 50MP 1/ 1.55″ Light Fusion 800 main camera and an 8MP ultrawide on the back. The Pro model, on the other hand, offers a 50MP 1/ 1.55″ Light Fusion 800, a 32MP Samsung S5KKD1 ultrawide, and a 50MP Samsung S5KJN5 2.5x telephoto.
