Redmi Note 12 is in FCC Certification! [12 November 2022]
As of November 12, 2022, the Redmi Note 12 has been spotted passing FCC certification. This device will be available in the Global and Indian market. It has the model number 22111317G. Codename “Sunstone“. It is a smartphone with affordable Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SOC. It was running MIUI 13 based on Android 12 while passing FCC certification.
However, it will be released with MIUI 14 in some regions. Information we detected on the Xiaomi server gives us clues. Redmi Note 12 was launched in China with MIUI 13 interface. It will come to some regions such as the EEA and Taiwan with MIUI 14.
Last internal MIUI builds of Redmi Note 12 are V14.0.0.7.SMQEUXM, V14.0.0.1.SMQTWXM and V13.0.0.25.SMQINXM. If we go into details, it will be introduced with MIUI 13 in India. But later on, Xiaomi can maybe prepare MIUI 14 builds for India. As we said above, we will see the MIUI 14 interface in some regions such as the EEA and Taiwan. Redmi Note 12 Pro / Pro+ Appeared FCC Certification [1 November 2022]
Redmi Note 12 Pro (Redmi’s first OIS supported device) and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ (Redmi’s first 200MP device) are very soon to be introduced on Global. New these devices are unified, they have a common codename (ruby), only a few differences available between the models. We have identified model numbers of devices in certificate, and in our IMEI database, model number of Redmi Note 12 Pro (Global) is 22101316G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ (Global) is 22101316UG.
These devices that will be released in Q1 2023, and will come out-of-box with MIUI 14 (last internal build: V14.0.0.4.SMOMIXM), this is biggest difference between China variants for now. Because these devices are sold with MIUI 13 based on Android 12 in China.
Redmi Note 12 Pro / Pro+ Specifications
Redmi Note 12 Pro/Pro+ devices are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 (6nm) (2×2.60GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×2.00GHz Cortex-A55) chipset. Both devices have a 6.67″ FHD+ (1080×2400) 120Hz OLED display.
