A bug is currently pestering Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 12S users. The issue causes slow charging in some devices.
Aside from slow charging, the issue even prevents their devices from reaching 100%. According to a bug report, the problem is present in the said devices running on HyperOS 2. Xiaomi has already acknowledged the matter and promised a fix through an OTA update.
The problem affects the different variants of the Redmi Note 13 5G with 33W charging support, including the OS2.0.2.0.VNQMIXM (global), OS2.0.1.0.VNQIDXM (Indonesia), and OS2.0.1.0.and VNQTWXM (Taiwan).
Aside from the Redmi Note 13 5G, Xiaomi is also investigating the same issue in the Note 12S, which is also charging slowly. According to the bug report, the device with the OS2.0.2.0.VHZMIXM system version is the one specifically experiencing this. Just like the other model, the Note 12S also supports 33W charging, and it could receive its fix through an upcoming update. The issue in the now is now being analyzed.
