Redmi fans in China can now purchase the recently unveiled Redmi Note 13R, with the base configuration starting at CN¥1,399 or $193.
The model was unveiled more than a week ago, but its arrival wasn’t that impressive after we realized that the Redmi Note 13R is practically the same as the Note 12R. Spotting the difference in the design of the two models can be tricky, with both sporting almost the same layout and overall design concept in front and back. However, Xiaomi at least made minimal changes in the camera lenses and LED unit of the Redmi Note 13R.
For instance, although the new model has the 4nm Snapdragon 4+ Gen 2, it is not much of an improvement over the Qualcomm SM4450 Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12R. Some of the key enhancements that are only worth highlighting between the two are the new model’s higher 120Hz frame rate, Android 14 OS, higher 12GB/512GB configuration, 8MP selfie camera, bigger 5030mAh battery, and faster 33W wired charging capability.
The Redmi Note 13R is now available in China Unicom. The model comes in various configurations, with its price tag for the 6GB/128GB variant starting at CN¥1,399. Meanwhile, the highest configuration (12GB/512GB) in the selection comes at CN¥2,199 or $304.
