Redmi Turbo 5 to get 6.6″ 1.5K display

A new leak shares several details of the rumored Redmi Turbo 5, including its display and more.

The Redmi smartphone is expected to be launched in China, where it will remain exclusive. Yet, like in the past, it could be introduced to the global markets as the Poco X8 Pro model.

According to famous leaker Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is now working on the phone. The mid-ranger reportedly has a 6.6″ 1.5K display complemented by a metal middle frame.

In the battery department, Xiaomi is said to be using a “large” battery. While the numbers were not provided, DCS’s tip might be a suggestion that the Turbo 5 will have a pack as large (or larger) as that of its predecessor (Redmi Turbo 4 and Poco X7 Pro), which houses a 6550mAh battery. In India, however, it arrived with a 6500mAh capacity and a 6000mAh battery in other markets.
