Render shows Google Pixel 9a still has thick display bezels

It seems the Google Pixel 9a will still have a low screen-to-body ratio, as shown by its recent render leak.

The Google Pixel 9a will debut on March 26, and its pre-order is rumored to start on March 19. While Google is still secretive about the phone, a new leak shows that it will have thick bezels.

According to the image shared by tipster Evan Blass, the phone will still have the same thick bezels as the Pixel 8a. To recall, the Google Pixel 8a has a screen-to-body ratio of around 81.6%.

It also has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, but it seems to be bigger than the ones in current smartphone models.

The details are not entirely surprising, especially since the Google Pixel 9a is expected to be another member of Google’s mid-range Pixel lineup. Moreover, its A-branding underscores that it is much cheaper than the current Pixel 9 models, so it will also get lower specs than its siblings.

According to earlier leaks, the Google Pixel 9a has the following specifications:

  • 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9mm
  • Google Tensor G4
