I bought it in December 2019 and without being able to say that it is a great phone, it passes as acceptable. At first the home screen was frozen but after deleting some apps the defect was removed. Now its worst defect is its poor performance in 2G and 3G, poor coverage and on the other hand that until now it cannot be updated beyond Android 10 and MIUI 12.5

I bought a redmi 8 cellphone about 1 year ago with minimum performance and requires an Android 12 /11 update because android 10 has a lot of performance degradation for redmi 8, for example, it doesn't support high graphics, free fire games

It\'s not the best phone for Gaming but as for photo editing and web browsing and watching videos it can do it with no problem and the battery life is great and so far it has gotten 3 MIUI updates and possibly getting the 4th one with MIUI 13
