Sony wants to underscore the powerful camera of the new Sony Xperia 1 VII in its latest campaign clips.
The Sony Xperia 1 VII is now official. One of the main attractions of the new handheld is its camera system, which, unsurprisingly, is armed with AI features.
In a series of new marketing clips, the Japanese company showcased the phone’s camera system, which is composed of a 48MP Exmor T (24mm or 48mm, 1/1.35″) main camera with OIS, a 48MP 1/1.56″ Exmor RS ultrawide macro, and a 12MP Exmor RS telephoto (85mm-170mm, 1/3.5″).
The main highlight of most of the clips, nonetheless, is the AI-powered features of the Xperia 1 VII. In addition to its powerful Eye autofocus, the Position Lock and Auto Framing could capture the attention of camera lovers.
Both features use AI and incredible stabilization. The Position Lock keeps the subject in focus in the video frame. According to Sony, it has a Pose Estimation technology, allowing the system to follow the subject and keep it at the center of the recording. Auto Framing also works in the same way. However, the mode also offers a close-up video of the scene, wherein the subject is further highlighted.
