Redmi has launched its Redmi K50 series of smartphones in China. Now they are gearing up to introduce the Redmi Note 11E Pro and Redmi 10A smartphone in the country. But, before that, an unknown Redmi device has been listed on China’s 3C certification; the listed device could be one from the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series.
Unknown Redmi device listed on 3C; upcoming Redmi Note?
An unknown Xiaomi device having the model number 22041219C has been listed on the 3C authority of China. We, xiaomiui, has already informed you all a month ago that Xiaomi is working on a device with the same model number and it will be launched under the Redmi brand. The device, basically L19, may launch as Redmi Note 12. Also, it has been quite a few months passed since the launch of the Redmi Note 11 series in China. So, the launch of the Note 12 series isn’t something unexpected.
The 3C Certification does reveal that the device will come with a 22.5W fast wired charging, and from this we get a hint that device will be a budget smartphone. It may launch in China with the support of 5G network connectivity. Apart from this, we don’t have much information to share about the device, neither something has been revealed about the device online. Here we can inform you that, again, according to the information we obtained from Mi Code, the L19 will have a MediaTek processor.
But, as the device has been listed out, the company has definitely started working on it and we may see some official hints or teasers regarding the device in the coming time. Also, the device might launch in India as well, as we have also reported the same model number for the Indian variant i.e., 22041219I. “I” in the model number represents the Indian variant.

This device has a China model number but it will not go on sale in China. It will run out of the box MIUI 13 with Android 12 and will be sold in Global and Indian market only. There is no information about the model Redmi Note 12 or what it will be. However, the K19 series was sold as Redmi Note 10 5G, POCO M3 Pro 5G, Redmi 10 in the Global market.
