Xiaomi is set to reveal Redmi Note 13 series on September 21, and they’ve already unveiled the display specifications of Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Xiaomi has a tradition of teasing their devices, and they had previously revealed some features of Redmi Note 13 series. Alongside Redmi Note 13 series, Xiaomi is also introducing the Xiaomi 13T series. While Redmi Note 13 series is powerful, it doesn’t match the camera capabilities of the 13T series. However, what sets this year’s Redmi Note 13 series apart is its curved screen, this is for the first time we’re getting a curved OLED on a Redmi Note phone.
Xiaomi has announced that Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a curved OLED display with incredibly thin bezels measuring just 2.37mm. That is quite thin for a midrange device. Xiaomi has also revealed the 1.5K resolution and 1800 nit maximum brightness. 1.5K is not sharp as the QHD displays we see in flagship devices but it’s definitely sharper than a FHD display. The display also has 1920 Hz PWM dimming. Xiaomi also emphasized that the phone’s display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, making the Note 13 Pro+ 1.5 times more resistant to drops and 2 times more resistant to scratches than its predecessor, as per Xiaomi claims.
In teaser images shared by Xiaomi, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ features a leather back cover, a departure from its predecessor, the Note 12 Pro+ which had a glass back. The phone sports a triple camera setup, featuring a 200 MP camera on the rear. Unfortunately, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ lacks a telephoto camera. The phone’s primary camera boasts a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor, accompanied by an ultrawide angle camera and a macro camera.
Xiaomi has also released render images of the Redmi Note 13 Pro. The Redmi Note 13 Pro comes with a flat design, unlike the Note 13 Pro+.
So what do you think about these devices? Has Xiaomi added the features that are missing with the Redmi Note 13 series according to you?
