Vivo and luxury luggage manufacturer brand Rimowa are rumored to be teaming up for a special edition Vivo X200 Ultra.
The Vivo X200 Ultra could soon launch, with rumors pointing to a timeline between March and April. Ahead of Vivo’s official announcements, we have been receiving several leaks about the phone. The latest claim says Vivo and Rimowa have been collaborating on a special version of the X200 Ultra.
In a post on X, a tipster account shared the news alongside the possible design for the back panel of the Vivo X200 Ultra, which boasts a striped look. It is important to note, however, that the unit in the images is the Vivo X100 Ultra based on the details of its camera island. Yet, the claim corroborates an earlier leak saying that there will be a white version of the X200 Ultra with a striped design.
According to another leaker, Digital Chat Station, there will be black, red, and white options to choose from. The red is said to feature the wine red shade, while the white variant features a dual-tone design. The latter’s back panel is divided into a plain white section and another one sporting a striped look, which will form the V design. The leaker claims that AG glass is used for the phone’s back panel.
Earlier leaks also revealed that it also has a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a curved 2K display, 4K@120fps HDR video recording support, Live Photos, a 6000mAh battery, two 50MP Sony LYT-818 units for the main (with OIS) and ultrawide (1/1.28″) cameras, a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 (1/1.4″) telephoto unit, a dedicated camera button, a Fujifilm tech-supported camera system, and up to 1TB storage. As per rumors, it will have a price tag of around CN¥5,500 in China, where it will be exclusive.
